WPC floors have a more flexible, bounce-like quality that makes the material softer, more comfortable, and easier to stand on. They are also warmer. Like SPC floors, WPC floors can be installed in kitchens, bathrooms, and basements and are a popular choice for offices.
Both have true-to-life wood and stone images, and both have four layers, including a top, clear, melamine wear layer that protects the floor from scratches and scuffs. Both can be installed with the floating floor technique where the pieces click together and hover over the subfloor with no nails or glue needed. Subfloors should be clean, dry, and level.
This has a special backing that absorbs liquid and keeps it from spreading, staining, and swelling. It works differently than vinyl. While this laminate is waterproof from the top, vinyl is waterproof both from the top and bottom, meaning that you can submerge it, and it will still be fine.
